What you doing in 2022?

It's taken a long time, but we're just about there now and able to tell you what your 2022 SXC season is going to look like!

We've taken a slightly different approach from usual this year and decided to step up and host TWO British level events this year, alongside our own, including the 2022 British XC championships. We know that a lot of you also like to race the British series and for the past few years this has meant a lot of long journeys south, so hopefully that situation improves significantly for a lot of us this year. It will mean our SXC series won't span the usual six rounds, but we're aiming to bring you six top weekends of bike racing, here's where we're heading:

Sunday March 27 - SXC event 1 - COMRIE CROFT, PERTHSHIRE

Sunday April 24 - SXC event 2 - LOCHORE MEADOWS COUNTRY PARK, FIFE

Saturday/Sunday May 7/8 - BMBS round 3 - DRUMLANRIG CASTLE, DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY

Sunday June 5 - SXC event 3 - CATHKIN BRAES COUNTRY PARK, GLASGOW

Saturday/Sunday July 23/24 - British Cycling XC championships - GLENTRESS FOREST, SCOTTISH BORDERS

Sunday August 21 - SXC event 4/Scottish Cycling XC championships - ABERFOYLE, STIRLINGSHIRE

So that's the plan right now - however, Covid-19 and more recently Storm Arwen have taught us not to count our chickens too soon. We might see some changes along the way, so stay tuned!
