Round 3 Preview - Lochore Meadows, Fife

After a year’s hiatus we’re back at Lochore Meadows for Round 3 of the Series. After a soggy few weeks the weather for the weekend looks overcast but dry and warm, but expect some muddy bikes at the end of the day!

Those of you who have raced here before will recognised a lot of the old course, but we’re introducing some new elements too and of course our new approach to U12’s races will see them on an entirely new course that takes in some of the senior course.

We will also be adding a switchback section on the first lap of the senior races straight after the start to help string the filed out a bit and avoid any bottlenecks before the single-track starts.

GETTING THERE

It’s extremely easy to get to Lochore Meadows If you’re using Sat Nav to get you there the postcode is KY5 8BA.

Free parking and disabled parking is available in large car parks situated next to the park visitor centre and the Outdoor Education centre.

A smaller free car park at the North Road entrance is also available from which you can walk into the park along a newly refurbished path which will lead you around the loch. But we’d suggest using the main entrance especially if you are racing.
