It is with regret that I have decided to stand down from my logistics / race HQ organiser role within the SXC.

I've thought long and hard about it, and in fact was planning to do this last year but was persuaded to stay on. With a new Committee on board, I feel it's time for me to hand over the reins to people with fresh ideas on how to progress the SXC I've been doing this for around 12 years - I'm not getting any younger and my time at the SXC was always going to come to an end sooner rather than later. I'm proud to have been involved with the SXC, working with some great people and dealing with the successes and challenges that came with organising the races. It's been great to see the amount of talent coming through (Grant Ferguson, Ben McMullen, the Johnston family, Isla Short, Kerry McPhee to name but a few) and I'm sure there will be many more names to add to this list in the years to come.

My intention is to do the first race at Cathkin on 17 March to hand over and say my farewells. See you all then.

Cheers,

Fish
