Craigie and Ferguson step it up for Round 3 BMBS.
After some strong performances at the first two rounds of the series 13 Scottish Riders traveled to the testing Margam park course in Wales for the third round of the British Series. Fresh from the testing Aberfolye SXC Lee Craigie had the climbing practice see needed as she rode to her best result to date to finish in a fantastic second place to New Zealand World Cup rider Rosara Joseph in the Elite women’s race. In the men’s Elite race Rab Wardell and Dave Henderson also rode to their best ever placing to finish in 7th and 10th respectively. The junior men’s race Grant Ferguson fresh from his 11th place at the last world cup rode what can only be described as spectacularly to win by nearly 4th mins. Not to be outdone Jenna Fenwick also won her race by a similar margin in juvenile girls. .
