Scottish riders start the season well at Sherwood
A large contingent of Scottish riders headed down to Sherwood pines to be met by a fast and flowing course and over 600 riders taking part in the event in total. The full report can be found here http://new.britishcycling.org.uk/mtb/article/mtb20100322-Report--British-XC-Series-Round-1-0 but notable performances by Scottish riders included wins by Lucy Grant in juvenile and Ryan Fenwick in Youth, whilst Scotland’s two best placed elite riders were Lee Craigie in 5th and the returning Rab Wardell in 9th.
