2009 South of Scotland
Youth Cyclocross Series
Scottish Cycling is proud to announce the launch of the 2009 South of Scotland youth cyclocross series. Drumlanrig Root Rats, Peebles Cycling Club, and SteppingStanes Youth cycling club are joining forces to run three rounds of exciting grass roots off road racing for under16’s.
Peebles CC: Sat 14th November, Innerleithen
Drumlanrig Root Rats: Sat 21st November, Drumlanrig Castle
SteppingStanes: Sat 12th Dec, Heathall Forest, Nr Dumfries
All races can be entered separately, but results from each race will totalled together to crown a series champion! So the more times you race the better chance you have of winning the series.
Races will be run in different age categories and all you need to take part is your bike in safe working order (cyclocross or Mountain Bike) and a helmet.
